This course provides an introduction to Vinyasa yoga, including key yoga postures (asanas), correct and safe alignment and breathing techniques (pranayama).

Over the 6 weeks we will gradually introduce elements that make up a Vinyasa Flow yoga class such as sun salutations, back-bends, inversions and meditation, while breaking down every part and alignment point as we go. By week 6 we will draw all these elements together and consolidate the knowledge and skills you have acquired over the course.

Suitable for anyone completely new to yoga or who wishes to gain more confidence in their practice. By the end of the course you will have gained the knowledge and confidence to go on to join a mixed ability group and/or start your own at home yoga practice.
